Key Accountabilities Key Performance Area Main Activities
Crewing Planning
Execute the crewing strategy and resource availability plan for assigned fleet. Ensure availability of required resources on-board based on the scheduling plan, and recommend to the Fleet Personnel Manager on the number and type of resources required for the vessel.
Crewing
Execute crewing resourcing plans by liaising with approved third party contractors or by tapping into internal resources.
Crew changes
Plan crew changes efficiently and effectively ensuring vessel and charterer requirements, are achieved in line with approved budget.
Crew Support
Be first point of contact for crew, providing logistical support on aspects such as flights and accommodation when required, port agent coordination, visa related support etc. and provide welfare support when required.
Crew development
Ensure crew have the correct training and certification and are developed to meet the BUs future needs
Leadership
Effectively supports employees to meet daily requirements/deadlines through addressing queries, resolving day-to-day work related issues and providing technical on-the-job training.
Advises functional teams or projects on his/her area of specialization and is able to lead multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
