Manager - QA and Compliance

Job Summary:

 

Oversee the development and implementation of Quality Assurance systems, compliance framework, policies and procedures. Implement approved excellence initiatives to facilitate creating a culture of excellence across the BU in line with Bahri overall strategy.

 

Duties and Responsibilities :

 

  • Oversee the implementation Quality Assurance, framework, policies and procedures for sales planning, commercial operations and other functions. Continuously review to reflect latest developments along with incorporation of best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits for HSEQ and customer to sustain effectiveness of the processes and procedures. Consolidate the internal audit findings, prepare and execute corrective action plans to obtain standard accreditations and certifications such as OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
  • Ensure that SOP's across the business units are appropriately coded/mapped on flow charts covering major activities across the BU and departments are  in line with desired quality standards.
  • Support the development of professional strategies and policies within the area of responsibility to ensure that Bahri operations utilize newest relevant insights and practices.
  • Direct the team to set their annual objectives and assign tasks to the team members. Monitor daily activities in line with the assigned tasks. Train and coach team members and execute performance management for the team. Correct performance issues.

 

Required Educational Level:

 

Bachelor Degree in Administration or industrial engineering.

 

Required Experience and Knowledge:

 

  • 7-12 years of experience business process, quality and operational excellence management.
  • Certifications in EFQM Assessor, ISO Assessor or equivalent is preferred.
